Help for Edit

When viewing a page or a reference you can click on either Edit button (one is at the top and the other at the bottom right) to edit the page.

On the Editing page, the source plain-text file for the page or reference is displayed, which you can modify at will.

On a Wiki page, structure, fonts, etc. are indicated by MemoWiki markup, and you can also use HTML tags if you wish (note that if you do use HTML it is not checked by MemoWiki; you must ensure the markup is correct yourself).

On a Reference page, a special format is used, with HTML-like tags. In a reference, you can use Wiki markup in abstracts and comments.

Edit any existing page (such as this one) to see some examples of markup.

There are three buttons at the bottom of the Editing page:

Done saves the page then displays the new (formatted) version
Save saves the page and lets you continue editing
Preview shows you a preview of how the page will look, so you can check your changes before saving. Note that the page is not saved until either the Save button or the the Done button is clicked.
